Am I the only one who forgets what day it is? I must be getting old…

So, I went in to visit Ryan tonight and he was gazing off peacefully into the distance. I said hello, and he turned his head, looked me straight in the eyes and began to move his mouth as if he was trying to say something to me. Oh, how I long to hear the sound of his voice again. If only…

  1. Thank you for sharing that. Ryan seems very present. his brain needs more time for healing. Your love and care for him, and his Mom’s love and care, has made such a difference in his life and healing. I have 2 friends that had severe brain injury. One was an adult at the time of the incident. My other friend was 9 weeks old. He is now 25. I was his teacher for many years, starting at age 3.

  2. This sounds so hopeful. I just pray with all my heart that God is knitting Ryan’s brain back together and that one day soon he will awaken and astonish everyone!! To God be the glory!

  3. Bret and Janine,

How wonderful for you! Miracles abound…will offer thanks at Mass this morning for God’s unique blessing on your family.

    Love, Mrs. C
