RYAN’S MIRACLE WATCH 11/11/15

God is using Ryan in a wonderful way; to touch people for His kingdom’s sake; and I am so fortunate to witness this on a daily basis. I know y’all have people in your lives too who cause you to question God’s ways. Don’t let the circumstance distract you from seeing what it is He’s trying to show you…

Acts 17:26-27   From one man He made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and He marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. God did this so that they would seek Him and perhaps reach out for Him and find Him, though He is not far from any one of us.

Seems like only yesterday it was 11/11/11. Life seems to go by more quickly the older I get. Where has the time gone? Will I ask the same question in Heaven, in eternity?

Some days I wish I could go back in life; not to change anything, but to feel a few things twice…

WONDER   verb:   have a wish or desire to know something

Psalm 40:5   Many, Lord my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you planned for us. None can compare with you, were I to speak and tell of your deeds, they would be too many to declare.

Kinda like trying to count the number of stars in the sky, or the grains of sand on the beach…

Ryan’s had a pretty good day today. He wants to wish you all a very happy Tuesday…and everyday!

Ryan’s Miracle Watch 11/9/15

First please allow me to say  THANK YOU to all who wished Janine and I a Happy Anniversary. We appreciate your kindness, and love you even more for who you are…

1 John 3:18   Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.

If I’m interpreting this verse correctly, y’all should’ve sent anniversary gifts to us instead of wishing us a happy anniversary. Just sayin’…

Seriously, though…

LOVE   verb:  have a great affection or liking for; be enamored with

Yep! That’s how we feel about y’all…

Twas (a word often heard ’round Christmas time) nice to see some rain today, and hope there’s more where that came from; just a little at a time, though. Wouldn’t want to get too much at once, ’cause then there’d be flooding and landslides, etc. That wouldn’t be good. Also, we’d probably start complaining about too much rain…kinda like the Israelites complaining about manna, or Ryan and Jacob when they were forced to take baths when they were little…

Have a lovely evening on purpose!

Psalm 145:10-13   All your works praise you, Lord; your faithful people extol you.  They tell of the glory of your kingdom and speak of your might, so that all people may know of your mighty acts and the glorious splendor of your kingdom. Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations.

The Lord is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does.

Ryan’s resting well today; resting in the promises of God…

Some words of wisdom I received from various sources today…

“Believe in your dreams and they may come true. Believe in yourself and they will come true.”

“Live in the moment and make it so beautiful that it will be worth remembering.”

“Speak what you wish to become. Live as if it’s already happened.”

“You don’t need a reason to help people.”

And my two personal favorites…

“Don’t stress about your eyesight failing you as you get older. It’s just nature’s way of protecting you from shock as you walk past the mirror.”

“Throw your chocolate into a bush. If you have to hunt and gather it, it is Paleo.”

Ryan and I are enjoying watching Thursday Night Football. We hope y’all are enjoying the night as well…

Ryan’s Miracle Watch 11/4/15

Well, I finally broke down and turned on the heater this afternoon; had to because my frozen fingers were beginning to stick to the keys on my laptop; that, and my toes were showing signs of frostbite. I suppose I could’ve worn something else besides shorts and a tee-shirt, but what Californian in their right mind does that? Doh! I just realized I could’ve gone into Ryan’s cozy room and hung out with him…

He’s doing rather well today. Of course he is. He’s in his nice cozy room where the temp is always a perfect 72 degrees, the birds are singing and there’s a faint smell of lilac in the air. Praise God for His blessings!!

Ryan’s Miracle Watch 11/3/15

I’m happy to report that Ryan slept well through last night and has had a stellar day; although he does seem to be coughing a bit more than usual. All of his vitals, however, are back to normal. Whew! For a moment, I was concerned he might be coming down with pneumonia, which as you all know means at least a 7-10 day stent in the hospital. But, being the fighter he is, he fought off whatever was ailing him and is back to his normal self; or at least the normal he’s known for the last 4+ years. Now, if God would only grant him the normal he had before his incident, all would be well again…

Hope you all have a wonderful week on and with purpose!

Ryan’s Miracle Watch 11/2/15

Since I took over watching Ryan this afternoon, he’s been having a hard time of it; slight fever, coughing a ton and low oxygen. Things seem to be going in the right direction however; just in time for the Warriors’ game…

Please pray that his vital signs will continue to get back to normal, so he can enjoy the game…Thank you.

Lord, Please heal my son completely. In Jesus Name…Amen
