Ryan’s Miracle Watch 12/9/15

Hosea 6:3   Let us acknowledge the LORD; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth.

When it comes to thinking about (acknowledging) God, it should come pretty easily since the sun rises every morning. Not only that, but we can also acknowledge Him every time it rains; which should be a constant this winter if El Nino becomes a reality. Whatever it takes, find something that reminds you to acknowledge God…it shouldn’t be that difficult. I think this kinda goes along with praying without ceasing…

Ryan’s still having a battle with something, as his temperature has been going up and down and up again. We’ll take him to the doctor tomorrow morning for a check-up. Hopefully it won’t be for an extended stay, but we’ll live with whatever the doc recommends in order for our boy to recover quickly…

Thanks for all of your prayers. They are helping, and are appreciated more than you will ever know…

  1. Bret, I’m a prison/hospital chaplain in West Texas and I signed up for “Ryan’s Miracle Watch” a couple of years ago. I can’t even remember now how I first heard about Ryan. This is the first time that I’ve commented on a post, but I want you to know that I pray for Ryan (and you guys) every day. My wife and I will especially be praying as Ryan heads to the doctor tomorrow. Because of the time difference between California and Texas, I usually don’t read your post until the following morning, but it’s the first thing that I click on EVERY day. I can’t even begin to tell you how many times you have encouraged me and brought glory to the Father through the past weeks, months, and years. Sometimes it’s the verse that you share, sometimes it’s the poem or saying that you post that you read somewhere, sometimes it’s a picture of Ryan, sometimes it’s your words of faith and hope in our amazing Lord…but you ALWAYS encourage me and give me courage to face my day of ministry. I realized tonight that I have never told you that, and that I needed to say THANK YOU! I love you, my brother, and stand with you in praying for Ryan’s miracle.
