Ryan’s Miracle Watch 1/6/15

Lots of rain today…much needed rain…and turning to snow in the mountains; making for a good start to ski season. Reminds me of how fun it was watching the boys learn how to ski/snowboard and eventually get better than me; something that came rather quickly. I remember the first time Ryan got on skis. By the third or fourth run up the tow rope and down the bunny run, he was going on the chair lift with his mother. I was teaching Jacob how to snowboard because he didn’t want to ski (that’s Jacob for you, always wants to do something different). He was ready for the chair lift after about an hour’s worth of instruction. After that, they just kept getting better and better. I love the rain and snow…

We praise God for the comfort of our home. It’s keeping us dry and warm right now. I pray for those less fortunate, who don’t have the shelter that I sometimes take for granted. I pray God will provide shelter and comfort to them…

Psalm 46:1   God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.

  1. I check back to this blog every time it comes to mind and pray for Ryan regularly. I don’t know any of you guys. I have no idea what laid Ryan’s story on my heart when I read it in the news years ago, but I pray that God gives you guys peace and comfort as you walk the trials before you. The victory is already won. In due time everything will be restored to the way it was always meant to be.
