This is the view of the bird feeder just outside one of Ryan’s windows. It’s not a very good shot, because it was taken through the screen, but if you look closely, you’ll see a couple of birds chowing down. These birds eat almost as much as Jacob (a growing young man). I’ve got to put about two-three pounds of seed in every couple of weeks. They’re eating us out of house and home (How many times have you heard your parents say that about you growing up?).
So, this is my 4th day on the job (Ryan’s day caregiver), and so far Ryan’s been awake for approximately two hours total. Either he’s ignoring me, or he’s just so relaxed and relieved that I’m watching him now. Yeah, I think I’ll go with the second one…
Anyway, we’re just hanging out today par usual. We hope and pray y’all are having a great day on and with purpose!
Matthew 6:26-27 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?
NOTE: I am not claiming to be the bird’s heavenly Father. We all know Who that Is…
I’ll bet there are a couple of squirrels helping get rid of that bird seed.

Nope. It’s got a weight restriction mechanism that prevents any creature over a few ounces from helping themselves. Now my apple trees on the other hand…that’s a different story…ha ha!
