Ryan’s Miracle Watch 10/19/17

Turns out the nurse we were hoping to have start this week is not allowed to work in the U.S. because she doesn’t have a work VISA. DOH! So, starting next week, I’ll be covering 90% of the shifts, unless another nurse or three pops up. It’s not as bad as it sounds, however, because #1 I get to watch Ryan (there’s not a more rewarding job anywhere), #2 It’s not rocket science, #3 It’s not strenuous work, #4 There’s no commute because I work from home and can do it in my pajamas if I want, #5 I can raid the refrigerator throughout the day, #6 I can catch up on all of my favorite soap operas (Wait! Did I say that out loud??) and the list of good things goes on and on…

Please continue to pray God will place it upon many people’s hearts to become nurses. There’s a real shortage out there.

A PRAISE: Our roof is finally finished, just in time for tonight’s rain…

  1. Nice, enjoy your week, finally brought my 21 yr old home, god is great, stressful am but I did 8t, RN 8 hours of course suction event under 5 min after nurse left, 20 kits later, balloon reflated, crisis over for now. I plan movies, reading bible to david, once I master bolus feedings meds. Good luck with nurse search, takes special compassion, I find spinal cord experience helps with my boys anoxic brain injury, they get it. Kathy
