Ryan’s Miracle Watch 11/1/17

For Halloween, Ryan dressed up as a patient, and I as his nurse. Although you really can’t see my full outfit, it is a set of scrubs I’m wearing. Yes, I own a couple sets of scrubs. They’re very comfortable (like wearing flannel pajamas), and I highly recommend y’all having at least one set to wear around town…

Anyway, I say we dressed up, because we’re only in costume while on earth. The clothes we wear, but even more so, the fleshly bodies within which we live, are temporary. For those who believe in Jesus, God sees them already in heaven. We’ll all be made new/whole in heaven.

2 Corinthians 5:17   “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has gone, the new has come.”

2 Corinthians 4:17-18   “For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.”
Both Ryan and I will be patient while anticipating Jesus’ return, and nurse on His Word and provision while we wait…
