May the 4th be with you! Oh wait! That was yesterday. May the 5th be with you today!
COMPLETE adjective: perfect and complete in every respect; having all necessary qualities
Colossians 2:9-10a For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness.
Think about this. In Christ, you have been brought to fullness. Not emptiness. Not half-filled. But full. Complete. Whole. If Christ lives in you, then you are complete. You lack nothing…nothing at all.
Imagine this: If you had a perfect mirror that reflected only perfection, then if Christ lives in you, wouldn’t you see Christ in that mirror? We wouldn’t see perfection, because we muck it up with our sin. Besides, we’d vaporize anyway, because no living man/woman is supposed to see God. I was discussing this with my neighbor the other day. Just some interesting food for thought. Don’t hurt yourself. I only say this because I’ve already hurt myself thinking about it…
I was happy to return home this afternoon to see my boy Ryan chillin’ with his nurse…
Good to meet you this morning Mark, along with your son and friends! Thank you for sharing your home and encouraging words with me.
We had a good time meeting you Bret. Feeling very sharp this morning.
