Ryan’s Miracle Watch 5/23/18

When bald people wash their faces, how high up do they go? I’m asking for a friend…

Ryan won’t have to worry about going bald any time soon…if ever. Both our boys have got a full head of thick hair, Come to think of it, so did I when I was their ages. I’ve got thick hair now. It’s just not all on my head…

Was an odd day today, weather-wise. It was overcast and didn’t even reach 70 degrees. We’re not complaining, however, because every day the Lord gives us is a great day! And, we take advantage of every moment on and with purpose.

James 4:14   Yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes.

John 8:2   Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

We all need to live each day as though it’s our last, because one day we’ll be right…

  1. Hello Bret, the best part about loosing your hair is you save a bunch on shampoo, Please give Ryan a hug for me. I hope I live long enough to see him heal. I don’t know if I ever told you I was one of them that dug him out . I was the old guy in the pit throwing sand And gave it my all. The other boy was up to his neck and I knew he would be ok and I was throwing it in his direction and hitting him in the face , I didn’t mean too and he sure cussed me out for it but I didn’t have a choice, would you tell him I’m sorry for that , I was in a give it your all mode. Someone finally put something in front of him to block the sand like plywood. You know if you google my name Ryan pops up. Anyway I read all your blogs and I may not comment but I’m here.

    • Hi Dennis, Words cannot express how grateful our family is to/for you; for not only trying to save our boy, but also for the faithful love and support you’ve selflessly given throughout his journey. Please know this comes from the very depths of our hearts and souls. I can only imagine how you must have felt as you were digging, and I hope I’m never put in a similar situation. If I am, however, I hope I would react as admirably as you did. We don’t know God’s ultimate plans for Ryan…or for our lives either…but we do know He’s been using his situation to add people to His kingdom, and in the end, that’s the most important thing. In the meantime, we continue to pray for God’s healing grace upon Ryan, hoping that it’ll happen in our lifetime. Whatever His plan, we know it’s perfect and in the end we’ll all be in Heaven rejoicing together. Oh, what a glorious day that will be!! Infinite THANK YOUS!
      Warmest Regards,

PS-I hope you would consider visiting us someday. It would be an honor to meet and thank you personally.
