One of Ryan’s dear friends, Hannah, got married today. What a beautiful bride she made…and what a beautiful ceremony. I wish Ryan could have been there. Actually, he was in a sense, in that he was in the hearts and minds of many of the people who attended. To those who came up to Janine and I today, THANK YOU for all the love and kind words you shared with and poured over us. You have been of tremendous support throughout the years, and we are so grateful God put you in our lives.
Thank you Mike S. for giving me a topic for a new song…Living in the Blink. I hope and pray I’m able to write lyrics as profound and meaningful as the title.
2 Peter 3:8 But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
1 Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.
Revelation 21:4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.
I rest easier at night knowing y’all are standing in the gap for us when we’re not able to stand. Please know, we’re standing in the gap for you as well when we are strong enough to do so. Praise God He is our strength!
It takes a village…
