FAITH noun: a strong belief in a supernatural power or powers that control human destiny
Romans 1:16-17 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”
Without faith, I’d be lost, and sad that Ryan is in his condition. And I venture to say, we’d all be lost. Think about it…We have faith when we turn the ignition key in our car, that it will start. When we flick the light switch to the “on” position, the light will come on. When we pray for Ryan to be completely healed, we have faith he will be healed. Do you really believe that. I do! The fact that he’s already healed in heaven for eternity, assures the result, but do you actually believe there’s a heaven?? If not, then I encourage you to look around at all of the things God is doing in and around your life. If, after witnessing “God’s” intervention, you do not believe, then I don’t know what to tell you. God is real. His salvation is real. His promises are real. I’m not crazy to proclaim it. I’ve got way too many examples of miracles He’s performed in and around Ryan’s circumstance that prove He’s real. BELIEVE! BELIEVE! BELIEVE! And, for God’s sake, open your eyes!! There is nothing more we want than for unbelievers to become believers.
ACTS 16:31 They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved–you and your household.”
You don’t have to make it any more complicated than that. It’s a simple directive. BELIEVE!
