Ryan’s Miracle Watch 1/4/19

As you know, K. Leigh (aka KDOT) comes almost every Friday for an hour to play her clarinet for Ryan. KDOT is 30-something and has down-syndrome. Prior to Christmas I asked if she would entertain us with some Christmas songs, and to our delight, the Friday before Christmas she obliged and filled the entire hour with Christmas tunes. She and her family went on a mini vacation during the week leading up to and including New Years, and therefore she here last Friday. Today, she did come, and started off her set with a hardy rendition of Auld Lang Sine (Please don’t ask me to tell you what the song means. All I know is that it’s sung on New Years). Anyway, she followed that up with many more Christmas songs. We celebrated Christmas again! She’s got her priorities straight! AWESOME! When she was playing “Silent Night”, I turned and snapped this picture of Ryan:

Brought a whole new meaning to the phrase “sleep in Heavenly peace”…
