Well, the Warriors gave it their best shot tonight, only to come up a bit short. Hats off and congratulations to the Toronto Raptors!
As a spectator, I don’t concern myself with wins and losses, but truly believe it’s about how the game is played. A good nail biter of a game is a good game; win or lose. After all, to me it’s merely entertainment. And what better way to be entertained than to be kept on the edge of my seat throughout? I’m more concerned about the well-being of the people who play it. Their physical and, more importantly, their spiritual well-being. That said, I hope Clay and KD, and any other players in the league who have suffered an injury, heal quickly and completely, so they can get back to the thing/s they love to do. And (again, more importantly), that they’ll draw close to God.
Tomorrow (Lord willing) is another day. Let’s look for God working in each and every moment, whether we’re winning or losing. Let’s pray for healing, salvation, peace, comfort and _________________ (You fill in the blank) for those in our lives that need it. Asking God to move in someone else’s life is one of the nicest things you can do for someone. Let’s do some nice things…a lot of them.
Thank you for praying for Ryan all these years. We appreciate your kindness more than you will ever know!
