Ryan continues to cough/sneeze whenever he’s awake. The only time he gets any relief is when he’s sleeping. It’s not a great way to get through the day. Poor guy…

Just gave him some Benadryl. Prayerfully, he’ll sleep through the night and wake up clear as a _______ You can fill in the blank…

Ry Mi Wa make up post for 9/4/19

It’s been a rough couple of weeks for Ryan. He coughs/sneezes pretty much whenever he’s awake, and therefore I and the nurses are constantly having to suction him, as he doesn’t swallow enough on his own. Today’s title is a reflection of how much energy I had left at the end of yesterday’s shift…

Please pray that whatever is causing Ryan’s distress will go away…and right now. In Jesus’ name…Amen

Ryan’s Miracle Watch 9/3/19

Went out to dinner tonight and overheard the older of two little girls at the table next to me (after returning from washing their hands in the bathroom) tell her mom how the youngest’s underpants had fallen off into the sink. Really? How does that even happen??

I miss the days when my kids would have stories like this. Maybe at the time I didn’t appreciate them…but, I should have. Don’t be a Bret! Live in and appreciate every moment…

Ryan’s Miracle Watch 9/2/19

There are many verses in the Bible that say don’t be jealous. I admit I sometimes get jealous of Ryan sleeping while I cannot. One such time was last night, as he slept soundly for 10+ hours while I slept with one eye open. He, however, does have a good excuse for sleeping so long, while I really do not. I need to work on my jealousy…

Tomorrow is going to be a great day, and I look forward to what God has in store for me/us…

Sweet dreams y’all!
