Ryan’s Miracle Watch 10/27/20

PG&E shut power off in our area the past two days due to high winds and fire danger. Unfortunately, when that happens, we lose the internet; which isn’t so bad. It’s nice not reading about politics, COVID, killer bees, mass shootings, and the like. Anyway, the last two days were spent sitting quietly with Ryan contemplating life. We started reading a book written by one of my former pastors, who is now a fulltime chaplain to first-responders in our county. The book is called “Used To Go To Church” by Nick Vleisides. It’s a good quick read, and I recommend it highly. We’ll be finishing it up tomorrow. Don’t worry, I won’t give away the ending…

  1. As always I send my lovery and prayers to you all.
I too am reading a new book. You will like it. Gospel Fluency by Jeff Vanderstelt. Wish this book was written, and I was told to read it when I was much younger. Kiss Ryan for Nevin’s Mom.

    • I think we all wish we would have read, learned and experienced a lot of things when we were younger. “If I only knew then what I know now.” I’ve learned to just go with the flow, and to live in the present…even as ignorant as I am…
