As we say goodbye to 2020, the following excerpt from “A Tale of Two Cities” by Charles Dickens comes to mind: “It was the best of times. It was the worst of times. It was the age of wisdom. It was the age of foolishness. It was the epoch of belief. It was the epoch of credulity. It was the season of light. It was the season of darkness. It was the spring of hope. It was the winter of despair.” Now that 2020 is literally hindsight, contemplate this: “What the new year brings to you will depend a great deal on what you bring to the new year.” – Vern McLellan    If we all bring just two things, brightness and kindness, what an amazing year this will be!
