Ryan’s Miracle Watch 8/11/19

The month before Jacob came home had to have been the slowest ever recorded. He arrived this past Thursday and left this afternoon, and that had to have been the fastest four days ever recorded…Feels like Spring Fever all over again and summer vacation is over before you know it…I think you know what I’m talking about.

Live and enjoy each and every moment to the fullest (even if some of those moments are ones of anticipation) because, truth be told, they come and go in the blink of an eye no matter what kind of moment they are.

Did you know Home Goods already has their Halloween items on the shelves?? Start shopping for Christmas now!

Lord, Please heal Ryan completely, and now…just as fast as the last four days passed…Amen

Ryan’s Miracle Watch 8/9/19

Here’s the latest report from Luke Souza’s Caring Bridge Journal on August 7:

Luke had his PET Scan done in Dublin in the morning and the Dr. called in the later afternoon to let us know the results are good – NO activity was seen. Hallelujah and Praise God! 🎉🎉🎉👍👍 Thanks so much for your continued prayers. Next on the schedule is chemo on 8/15.  He will receive it every 3 weeks for up to one year.

Please keep praying for Luke until he’s completely healed…

Acts 3:16b   It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him that has completely healed him, as you can all see.

John 15:7   If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

Jesus gave us two important keys to answered prayer here.  If we want to ask what we will and have it done for us, we will have to do what He said.

  1. Abide (remain) in me.  He is talking about praying out of a place of fellowship with God, about being led by the Spirit while you pray.  The Holy Spirit is our best help in prayer.
  2. My Word abides (remains) in you.  To be effective in prayer and to pray the will of God, we must know the Word of God and pray according to His word where His thoughts and ideas and will are expressed clearly.

Except for slightly elevated temps in the early A.M.’s, Ryan’s been doing well the past several days. And, he’s excited to have his brother home for the next few days!

Sleep well tonight…

Ryan’s Miracle Watch 8/6/19

People often ask me to pray for them and/or a loved one in need, or for whatever…and I’m honored to have been asked and to get on my knees on their behalf (behalves?). I, however, don’t feel like I really know how to pray…and I really want to know how to pray well/properly/extraordinarily. So, no more Spanish lessons, real estate courses, writing music, etc. until I’ve thoroughly researched and mastered (if possible) how to pray. I want to do my absolute best to pray on behalf of others…

If any of you have any suggestions, advice, knowledge, wisdom…please feel free to share. For now, I’ll begin here…

Matthew 6:10b   ….Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

On my knees…

Ryan’s Miracle Watch 8/5/19

Acts 26:16   Now get up and stand on your feet. I have appeared to you to appoint you as a servant and as a witness of what you have seen and will see of me.

Anyone who’s been reading these posts for a while, knows God is performing miracles all around all the time. So, what miracle/s have you seen lately? Will you stand and testify about them?

I will say that every day Ryan is alive is a miracle…as is every day you and I are alive. So, we can at least be a witness of that…

Ryan’s Miracle Watch 8/4/19

NEVER  adverb:   not ever; at no time in the past or future; not at all; certainly not; not in any circumstances

The expression “never say never” was first recorded by Charles Dickens back in 1837. Never say never, means that anything can happen; that nothing is impossible.

God says something different, however.

Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will NEVER leave you nor forsake you.

So, God will never leave or forsake you/me/Ryan. But, the times we think He’s abandoned us or is not there, is when we’re (for whatever reason) choosing to ignore/not recognizing/forgetting that He is, indeed, there, because He will NEVER leave us.

From here on out…or in, depending upon how you want to look at it…Or should I say, for the rest of our days upon this earth?…KNOW deep in the depths of your soul that God is ALWAYS there. This truth gives me a tremendous amount of comfort, and it’s my hope it’ll give you the same.

We pray God’s peace and comfort upon you all…ALWAYS!
